Josie turns 6

Josie can swim in the deep end now without fear. I am amazed how calm she is in the water even when she gets swamped with a wave and she is on her back. Cooper and Aliza are both able to dunk under with mommy without crying. we try to do this about 6 times as we swim. we all go to go to the Dwight pool to wrap up Josie's Birthday party and grandma and grandpa decided to come which was a special treat. here she is with sidekick Becka.
Birthday parties at auntie gingers are always full of little treasures passed on .. Johnnie giving a favorite bug and Becka a favorite pencil and Tori a few buttons from her collection... and its always full of much laughter and noise. :D
The day of her birthday she had cupcakes daddy bought her.

Potty Training/ Inventors Camp/ Grandma's Birthday/ Pool Party

What a busy summer we have had. Xander got to go to a day camp for one week. Inventing things, learning about electricity and trying to save and rescue Sludge City from pollution. It was a lot to bring him there by 9 and pick him up at 3 but we survived. There is a lot of crack showing around here lately! Cooper seems so need a bath every meal and in the sink or pool he goes.  Aliza is running to the potty, and between accidents she tends to streak around.  There is a lot of "little people butt" showing around here. The stainless bowl works in lue of fig leaves though. hee hee.

The potty picture is a wrap around shirt made from Cooper's nursing blanket because she had an accident in McD's... the underwear ended up in the garbage and the soiled dress needed to be substituted for the make due shirt and shorts I carried in my diaper bag. :) she stayed dry all the way home though and went again when we came in the door.
